I have held workshops for both professionals and amateurs all around the world.

On my travels with Jo Strømgren Kompani we are often asked to provide festivals and schools with a workshop of various lengths. I enjoy teaching and playing with the artform, especially when encountering new people and culture.

A typical session would involve warming up the body and voice, then moving into group dynamics and improvisation. Often creating scenes that have the possibility to keep on growing in the hearts and bodies of the participating performers long after the workshop is over. It´s all about getting into the creative mood together and then playing around. Sometimes including choreographies which we create individually and together.

Nothing is wrong and anything is possible..

These are the countries I have been so lucky to visit and also to hold a workshop: Poland, France, Faroe Islands, Ukraine and at the newly established Theater Academy of Greenland.
